These signs can be made out of high density ureafoam (HDU), redwood or cedar. Sand blasted signs hold up well to moisture as well as extreme heat and last for years. HDU is rapidly becoming the material of preference. It is dimensionally stable, does not absorb any moisture, takes all types of coating extremely well and can easily be made into any size or shape the customer desires. HDU also does not crack or warp as does wood. It requires much less maintenance or frequent refinishing.
